Healing with a Natural Medicine Doctor

I was diagnosed with a form of breast cancer (DCIS, Stage 0) just before Christmas 2010. It brought me to my knees for a while (thanks largely to the doctors I came upon), but I had the help of Spirit, close friends and family to bring me back up.

I fired all the doctors I went to because they simply wanted to "slash/poison/burn," and I would not agree to that, especially because Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) means that there are pre-cancerous growths that have not spread. I have 2 in my right breast. Every doctor I went to wanted to do a mastectomy; one "punished" me by saying she could do a lumpectomy but refused to offer it because I wouldn't agree to radiation!

Spirit led me to a fabulous (and rather famous) internist, holistic and alternative healer, Dr. Ted Edwards, who won an award for being one of the best doctors in the country, and his office is about 20 minutes from my home. He told me how courageous I was to choose a healing route vs. the route that was being forced upon me by the general medical establishment. He is building my immune system so that my body can bring itself back into healing.

When I have time/energy I'll put more info on this blog so other women have enough information and courage to "just say no" to unnecessary mastectomies, lumpectomies and chemicals.

I am coming along well, and working with my inner as well as outer being to heal completely.
